Palmers Green To Stay In Enfield Southgate

1st August 2002

Source: Letter from MP Stephen Twigg to local residents

Dear Resident,

As you may well have heard the Boundary Commission has published their final recommendations for the Enfield Parliamentary Boundaries.

I am delighted to say that the Commission has decided to listen to the local community and allocate Palmers Green to Enfield Southgate rather than Edmonton as in their initial proposals.

I would like to thank all those who wrote to the Boundary Commission, signed my petition, organised their own petition or helped in any other way in this campaign. The result shows what local communities can really achieve when we work together for a common goal.

If you would like assistance on any other matter please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Stephen Twigg MP
